Coastal Navigation (Riverside and Pt Pleasant) - Two day classroom course plus an additional examination day. Includes text, piloting equipment, examination fee and Certification by ASA. Examination day available on several dates to suit your schedule at no additional cost. Advanced Coastal Cruising - Five day live aboard course on a 34' Ericson. The ACC will included examination fee and Certification by ASA. Provisioning not included. Plans include a trip to Block Island on the Sloop Ericson equipped with Radar, GPS, and more. ASA Bareboat Chartering and Coastal Navigation are the prerequisites.

Practice Boats - After you have taken at least the Basic Course, we have 22' - 23' boats for you to rent. Club membership is included with any course we offer. Basic Sailing (Riverside and Pt Pleasant) - Two days of hands on instruction with four to a boat. Vessel is 26'. Includes text, log, examination fee, membership in Daysailor Club and Certification by ASA and NASBLA Safe Boating Certificate. Course will also be offered in Riverside, NJ on the Delaware

Basic Coastal Cruising (Pt Pleasant) - Two days of hands on instruction on 28' inboard sloop with wheel steering. Includes examination fee and Certification by ASA.

Bareboat Chartering (Pt Pleasant) - Two and a half days (long weekend) of live aboard instruction given on a 30' - 36' sloop. Includes text, food and beverage and Certification by ASA. (One dinner will be the responsibility of the student. We will visit a local restaurant ashore.) In addition we also have "Special" Bareboat Chartering courses that are 1 - 2 days longer and are sometimes "one way" trips.

Learn to Sail Week (Pt Pleasant) - Seven day course for up to five people given on the boat of your choice. Course includes Basic Sailing and Basic Coastal Cruising as per above plus the boat to live aboard for seven days. There will be four days of practice sailing on the same boat. The rates start at $1,992 per week. (Not per Person)


Flotilla 2008 (BVI) - April dates to be announced. Sail the British Virgin Islands with on of our instructors and earn your ASA certificate in the islands. Call or E-mail us for full details. On the Lead Boat - $1,495 per person based on double occupancy. Single berth add $950. ASA Instructor (Pt Pleasant and Riverside) - The ASA has over 225 member facilities in the US and the Islands. Become an ASA certified instructor. Course offered several times a year. Certification from Basic Keelboat Instructor through Bareboat Chartering Instructor available in April and May 2008 as follows: In Pt Pleasant - Basic Sailing April 25 at 1800 - 2100 & April 26 & 27 from 0900-1800; Basic Coastal Cruising/Coastal Navigation April 28, 0900-1600: Bareboat Chartering April 29, 0900-1600. In Riverside - Basic Sailing only May 16 at 1800 - 2100 & May 17 & 18 from 0900-1800
Three years sailing experience necessary.

NOTE: We have applied to the USCG to have these Basic Sailing clinics approved so that all successful candidates will be able to apply for a Limited USCG license. Successful completion of this course (ASA 201) will satisfy the USCG requirements for a license as a Limited Master of Vessels of Not More Than 100 Tons or Limited Operator of an Uninspected Passenger Vessel. If you are already licensed successful completion of this course will allow you to add on the Sailing Endorsement to your license.
